Plans for School Break

Here are some plans for our school break, which lasts until July 6th.

Abby: Read a story to me and do a math page a couple of days a week.
Thomas: Do a spelling lesson and a few math problems a couple of days a week.
Carrie: Do a math page a couple of days a week.

Abby, Thomas, and Carrie: Play outside, work in the garden, do craft projects, go swimming when it gets warm enough, help around the house, pull out toys that haven't been played with in awhile, read lots of books.

Anna and Emily: Finish up school subjects. Work on craft projects, writing projects, computer projects, help Dad at the church, help around the house, garden, read, read, read.

Me: Do a couple of sewing projects, finish my cross-stitching, work on cleaning some things that have gotten pretty bad, like the oven and the mildew on the window sills, The Garden and all associated freezing, learn to can (????) with the tutelage of some women at church, do some paperwork and organization catch-up in my desk, work on all my school plans, watch movies with my kids, read books with my kids, go swimming and berry and apple picking with the kids, go on a couple of family trips, work on the state hs convention, and hopefully sit in the swing and read a lot of books! Woo-Hoo! I can hardly wait to begin! Should I begin with some housework or that new book that's calling my name from the night table???
