I've just learned a new way to cook a roast and my family likes it a lot! This method makes it very tender.
Coca-cola Roast
One roast, any cut, any size
1 tablespoon oil
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
Black pepper
1 can of Coke
Flour to thicken gravy
Quickly brown roast in oil in a hot skillet. Place browned roast in crockpot. Pour in package of soup mix, season with pepper, pour in can of Coke. Cook on low for 8 hours or until done. Thicken juice with flour to make a beautiful brown gravy. Serve with mashed potatoes.
