Outside my window...
The world is sunny and beautiful, the air is cool, and the birds are singing.
I am thinking...
About the beginning of May and how much we're enjoying our school vacation already and all the things I'm planning to do with the children and around the house.
I am thankful for...
Sweet friends who we love and who love us.
From the kitchen...
Chicken pies later this week. I'll post the recipe sometime during the week.
I am creating...
I just finished a summer schedule for Thomas and Abby so they will be more directed in their activities and hopefully, argue less! I'm also creating with Rachel a wonderful geography course for Carrie, which I will post about when it's finished. I'm working on all kinds of plans for trips we're taking in May and June and starting on my assignments for the state homeschool convention, which we help with.
I am going...
I hope to stay home a lot this week, but I'm going to meet grandparents later in the week because a couple of my girls are going with them to my niece's homeschool graduation.
I am reading...
I've just finished A Life That Says Welcome and will post my thoughts about it later this week. It's a great book! I don't know what I'm going to read next - I have a couple of books I should finish and a few magazines to read.
I am hearing...
My girls in the living room, discussing different things and enjoying being together.
Around the house...
I'm planning to work on Thomas' room this week - I've discovered mildew in his closet, which is located in a bathroom. I'm also going to help him give his room a good cleaning.
One of my favorite things...
Pedicures and bright nail polish for summer. And new flip-flops!
Here is a picture I'm sharing... (actually 2!)
