Outside my window...
the weather is beautiful! Sunny, breezy, JUNE!
I am thinking...
about the week ahead and the cleaning I'd like to accomplish today.
I am thankful...
that God works all things together for good....
From the kitchen...
we made some great cherry bars for Sunday that totally blew my diet!
I am reading...
Discipline by Elizabeth Elliott
I am hearing...
nothing, except light traffic and birds singing. Almost everyone is still asleep.
Around the house...
I am hoping to deep clean my bedroom today. I need to straighten my closet and armoire, vacuum the baseboards and under the bed, vacuum the blinds and lace curtains, clean the mildew off the window sills, and dust knick-knacks.
One of my favorite things...
shopping with my 6 daughters! We had a good time on Saturday, didn't we, girls?
A few plans for the rest of the week....
Katie, Emily, David and I are going to a conference at the end of the week. We'll spend the beginning of the week getting the housework done, running errands, and ironing/packing for everyone.
Here is a picture thought I'm sharing...

Shopping with 6 daughters! Oh, boy, I have 3 and when we all go together, I get really really tired... I must not have the shopping gene ...
God bless you and the cherry bars look good. I might try them.
Cherry bars sound delicious ... but I'm sure you can have a couple once in a while or even once a week without ruining your diet? I guess it depends on whether you can stop at one or two, lol. I don't want to be the cause of you going right off your diet completely though.
Shopping with 6 daughters would be 'interesting'. I have one child - a son, who is now 17 yrs. Our shopping trips usually mean we stop for coffee and 'something nice' to go with it ....yes, he loves to go shopping which is unusual for a boy.
You have a lovely blog - it's nice to meet you.
God Bless,
Elena :)
