Bible Verse

For a long time, the kids and I studied a verse from Proverbs every morning. I saw huge benefits from this exercise. But life got busier and things changed and Proverbs study fell by the wayside.

I decided this past week to start a Meeting Time on school days for Carrie, Thomas, and Abby and go back to our Proverbs study.

I look at the chapter for the date (3rd chapter on the 3rd of the month) and pick a verse. Using our Strong's Concordance and my Old Testament lexicon, we look up the meanings to the important words and try to understand what the verse is saying.

One of our verses this week was from Proverbs 3:3.
"Let not mercy (kindness) and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart.

That's been a good verse for all of us to remember this week!
