Brownie Soddy

Today we made a brownie soddy. First, we mixed up two envelopes of brownie mix. We added nuts (rocks) and coconut (grass) and baked them. After they cooled, I cut them into rectangles. Then the kids stacked them to resemble a soddy using some homemade icing for glue. We smeared icing on a piece of cardstock for the roof. Cute, huh?

Sorry to mess up the comments - I haven't discovered a way to edit.

We have had a good time, but it's back to the salt mines next week - regular schoolwork!

I've added your blog to my bloglist so I can keep up with your beautiful family!
