Passover Seder

Passover: One of our favorite ways to observe Holy Week.
And may I say that our church did an outstanding job of making it as authentic as possible, as well as lovely.

Lovely is just the word I was thinking of! I am going to suggest to our activity committee to have a church Passover Seder next year! As Christians, the symbolism is so rich!

Shonda, If you don't already have it, Celebrate the Feasts by Martha Zimmerman is a great Christian book about celebrating all the Biblical feasts. Another book I have, which has good recipes and is very helpful, is Jewish Family Celebrations by Arlene Cardozo, but the first one is really the only one you need.

It's also fun to do Sukkoth in the fall - it's like a Jewish Thanksgiving and is great for a school group to do outside, especially BOYS, because they get to make a shelter. If you ever decide to do that one, I can tell you some things we've done in the past.
